Extinguishing a Candle
How are you suppose to extinguish a candle? Do you blow it out? Fan it out?
Actually, it's none of the above. The safest way to extinguish a candle is by using a snuffer. Unfortunately, we don't carry snuffer yet. In the future, we will be carrying it out and provide it to you.
Here are some do's and don't:
- Using a snuffer is the safest way to prevent hot wax from splattering all over.
- Never use a water to extinguish a candle. Water can cause the hot wax to splatter and might break the glass jar.
- Before leaving the room, make sure the candle is completely out. Double check to make sure that the wick ember is no longer glowing.
- Don't touch or move the candle. The jar may be hot to touch and it might burn you.
Hopefully, you learned something about extinguishing a candle.
